Abstract :
A transconductance amplifier based entirely on a first-order sampled-data feedback topology is designed, implemented, and characterized. The system uses only low linearity components and no conventional continuous-time feedback, with transconductance gain set by a capacitor value and clock period. The prototype integrated circuit was implemented in a 2 μm CMOS p-well process and yielded experimental linearity in excess of 67 dB, limited by the lack of more precise measurement capability
