Abstract :
We analyze the performance of linear minimum mean squared error (LMMSE) estimate-based multiuser detector for CDMA communication systems. Through numerical evaluation and computer simulations, we also compare the performance of the LMMSE detector and the adaptive bootstrap multiuser detector. Our analysis and simulations show that even though these two detectors were proposed based on different optimization criteria, they exhibit approximately equal performance in multiuser CDMA communications applications
