  • Abstract
    A new type of underwater sensor network node model is designed. The node model was consist of the signal acquisition module, data processing module, communication module and power management module. As the most important unit, the communication module included CPU module, protocol stack, data storage, sensor interface module, modem and communication module. Cortex-M3 was adopted in CPU module due to the advantage of low power consumption and small package. The node model would be more intelligent and energy saving thus. It is helpful to deal with the complex underwater acoustic environment.
