  • Abstract
    With the wide acceptance and deployment of IP telephony, providing intelligent services to Internet users has become one of the hottest research topics. An improved IN/IP integration architecture is presented and a new functional entity for accessing IN services from a VoIP network - intelligent services agent (ISA) - is introduced. Its main advantages are that the integrity of GSTN IN and the Internet architecture is kept, and service capabilities of both networks are combined and utilized efficiently
