Abstract :
This document describes the objectives of the Intelligent Network Forum. The IN Forum has adopted a new working method, which involves issuing requests for information (RFI) to both members and other industry bodies. The first RFI asked for views on the evolving architectures for the delivery of services and applications in next generation networks. It also seeks views on how respondents propose to best develop specific classes of service using the chosen architectures. The RFI was issued to gather information on the following services: multi-party conferencing; personalised number service; voice and data virtual private network (VPN). The results of the IN Forum RFI presented at the workshop were not available when this submission was published
