Abstract :
In this paper, we establish a new type of constraint preconditioner for solving symmetric, indefinite saddle point system arising from Maxwell equation in mixed form and study the spectral properties of the related preconditioned matrix. By comparing the performance of the constraint preconditioner presented in this paper and block diagonal preconditioner established in [1], we numerically verify the accuracy and practicability of the constraint preconditioner.
