  • Abstract
Partial transmit sequence is an efficient algorithm to solve the problem of high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM).In this paper the PTS algorithm is used in Wavelet Packet Based Multi-Carrier Modulation system, but it still requires high computational complexity. A sub-optimum PTS algorithm based on combined random-interleaved partition and Hadamard matrix is proposed to solve this problem. Simulation shows that the improved algorithm proposed in this paper can achieve good PAPR reduction with low computational complexity and have nearly no influence on the bit error rate performance.
