Abstract :
The introduction of semantics via ontologies in the industrial environment combined with autonomous agents for the decentralization of production processes has drawn a lot of attention. The common denominator in all proposals attempting to combine semantics and intelligent agent was the semantic gap between them which, at best, was attempted to be bridged with an auxiliary ontology. In this paper we go a step beyond to addressing this problem, by proposing a methodology that could considerably leverage the actual implementation of the multi-agent system.
