  • Abstract
Artificial ground freezing (AGF) method has been widely used in various kinds of municipal engineering projects. But existing formulas for calculation of the temperature field of artificially frozen soil walls are limited because they are all based on the conditions of the plane. Analytical solution of three-dimensional steady state temperature field of single-piped freezing in an infinite region is deduced based on potential superposition method, where the heat flow along freezing pipe changed parabolically. The heat flow along freezing pipe changed linearly and uniformly is also contained in this analytical solution.
