Abstract
To eliminate ill effects of the disturbance torque on the stability of output angular rate of the gimbal servo system, an adaptive disturbance torque compensation method with no modeling is presented. An interference suppressor for selfadaption compensation is designed using invariance principle of output angular rate of the gimbal servo system to disturbance torque. Different disturbance torque is added into the system to test the role of the interference suppressor. The MATLAB simulation shows that the interference suppressor has the same significant effect in suppressing different kind of disturbance torque.
