  • Abstract
    Semantic retrieval is one of keys to achieve knowledge retrieval, and it is based on the computation of semantic similarity. This paper improves the general model of conceptual semantic similarity computation by adding new elements to the model such as instances, the relationship between concepts and instances, and that between instances itself. It also presents the method of computing semantic similarity based on the new model. In the experiment, the method gets the excellent results, which fits our judgment.
