Abstract :
The shared information platform is an effective way to settle the information systems integration, and database system is the central component of the platform. The database system design of shared information platform for freeway transportation (SIPFT) is proposed in this paper. Information sources, components and functional requirements of the database system are presented and the system structure is established. On the basis of the design, the database system of commanding and dispatching platform for freeway is developed.
