Abstract :
This paper presents a novel method of extracting the general structure of a pencil ??B-A using stable transformations. Special applications are treated such as the computation of minimal realizations, (invariant, transmission and decoupling) zeros, supremal (A,B)-invariant and controllability subspaces.
