Abstract
In this paper, an adaptive algorithm for circle target identification is proposed in the light of the real-time demand in practical image measurement systems. Firstly, the image is segmented using an adaptive dynamic threshold method. Then, least square method is applied to sub-pixel circle detection. The proposed scheme is simple and powerful. It can meet the real time demand of on-site test and can precisely locate circle targets, which provides reliable assurance for measurement of moving objects. Finally, some experiments are done to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
