Abstract :
A femtosecond optical parametric oscillator based on the nonlinear material BiB3O6 pumped by a Kerr-lens-mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser is reported. Continuous tuning across the spectral range of 1.2-1.6 mum is demonstrated.
