Abstract :
It is more meaningful containment of war than the war itself in today´s world. The method of island control based on weighted voronoi diagram(WVD) is presented in this paper, which regards military bases and task force formations as control nodes, and makes use of WVD on display through the capacity description and computing composite index of the nodes. The nodes´ capability can be analyzed and optimized from different perspectives. Simulation testing shows that the arithmetic of WVD, which can distinctly represent the dynamic process of island control with the deployment of task force formations and the construction of military bases, can be strong practicability to guide deployment optimization of task force formation and the construction of sea battlefield.
