Abstract :
In the modern greenhouse management system, it not only requires the embedded database to have datum managerial ability like the traditional database, but also requires there can be certain real-time character in the embedded database system. This paper combines the characteristics of agriculture engineering, real-time embedded system, and database system, understanding the inner link between the three aspects, to study the design and implementation technology of the embedded database system. Due to constraints of the existing infrastructure (data storage, communication, etc), it is often difficult to deliver these datum to remote areas in a timely and efficient manner. The application built with embedded database has relied on a model where a field worker with a mobile PDA records the on-site information. In this connected state, the PDA and a centralized server can exchange information and get the collected data backed up on reliable media.
