  • Abstract
    The effect of noise can be effectively overcome using maximal ratio combining(MRC) algorithm as uplink detection algorithm without interference or in weak interference, but the performance is poor under the strong interference. And noise can be overcome by using interference rejection combining (IRC) algorithm under the strong interference, but noise can´t be eliminated on condition that there is no interference. The advantages of two algorithms are combined very well in improved algorithm which is proposed in this paper. The switchover of these two algorithms is changed adaptively by judging the strength of interference. Using MRC algorithm without interference or in weak interference and using IRC algorithm in strong interference, the error rate will be reduced, thus performance of system will be improved.
