Abstract
We propose an efficient noniterative sinogram reconstruction solution based on multicoset sampling theory for the missing-cone problem in CAT imaging. It is shown that such a scheme can provide image quality comparable to previous methods without restrictive assumptions on the image being acquired. Furthermore, it uses only part of the non-missing projections which can potentially further reduce X-ray exposure and results in faster operation
