Abstract :
This paper discusses broadband spectrum shaping, taking us from the early noise-diodes/analog system to the sampled digital filter system that time shares digital multipliers and adders. It describes the digital filter implementation for Device 14E27 training system which performs forty-four million instructions per second. It is a recursive programmable filter that executes 112 time-shared filter operations.
