Abstract
For the hierarchical transmission of two data streams of equal size over a broadcast AWGN channel a new clustered signal constellation 32-diamond is designed. The optimization of this constellation leads to a pair of achievable rates that is 70% above the time sharing strategy in one rate when fixing the other one
