Abstract :
With the abundance of information online, mashups are a powerful way to process and make sense of all the data that we are exposed to on a daily basis. However mashup creation is a complex task that requires expertise in advanced programming languages. Moreover, the currently available tools do not adequately support the technical knowhow of end users. In order to identify the skill mismatches between the tools and the users, we profile the Web-active end user and propose directions for future research.
