Abstract :
Today, the user is interested in comparing one service with another in terms of universal, user-oriented performance parameters which apply to any end-to-end service. The QoS concept encapsulates the idea that different data streams could be treated differently by the network depending upon the service being carried. QoS features shall provide the required performance of latency, jitter and packet loss needed to support the service. In this paper we have analyzed QoS in case of Wi-Fi/WiMAX and WiMAX/Wi-Fi handover.
