Abstract :
The design of Layer 2/lambda-hybrid Internet exchange (IX) is presented in order to provide lambda connectivity services as well as to achieve layer 2 traffic congestion control. The trial results of such hybrid IX field environment are described from the point of lambda path provisioning as well as bandwidth modification operation.
