Abstract :
The mathematical models of frequency-selective surfaces with dielectric covers are considered. The boundary problems are solved by the integral equations method. The integral equations are based on Lorentz´s lemma in the integral form. Due to periodicity condition the decision has been reduced to surface currents determination within the Floquet channel only. The integral equation solution is executed by the moments´ method. The required surface magnetic current distribution in the aperture of an array (part of the periodical array unit cell surface free of microstrip elements) is presented as decomposition on subsectional basis functions. This basis allows considering adequately current distributions features in edges. The presented numerical results of frequency-selective surfaces with dielectric covers full-wave analysis can be used for a choice of the most rational variant of FSS geometry by development of multipurpose antenna radomes in radar systems at microwaves.
