Abstract :
We give a simple quantum private comparison protocol with quantum key distribution and hash function, in which two distrustful parties can compare whether their secrets are equal with the help of a semi-trusted party. We also analyze the security of this protocol and show that its security is based on the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics and the irreversibility of hash function.
