Abstract :
The article presents a new digital method of phase controlling the q-pulse power module. The basic information carrier, that is frequency, has been specified. In the proposed method, the angle intervals of the delayed thyristor turn-on are generated separately for each power thyristor. The angle delay value is updated in each period of high frequency proportional to the industrial network frequency. The angle delay value is modified according to the two instructions: “+1 increment”, and “-1 decrement”, which are repeated for respective frequencies. The minimum value; the maximum value; π/2 border, comprise the limitations of the delay angle value. It has been shown that the negative increments of the angle value have to be limited considering the power thyristor commutation interval. The proposed method fully complies with the microprocessor system specifications creating, at the same time, its interface
