Abstract :
The existing wireless TCP achieves efficiency over wireless networks, but on the other hand sacrifices friendliness with legacy TCP. In this paper, we propose a new wireless TCP, TCP Delayed Congestion Control (TCP DCC). The main idea here is to simply use the number of packet losses to determine the congestion window size which meets friendliness and efficiency simultaneously. This paper also uses simulations to show the benefits of our proposed wireless TCP.
