Abstract :
The 2011 Radiation Effects on Component and Systems (RADECS) Conference was held in Sevilla (Spain) from September 19th to 23rd at the Escuela Superior de Ingeniería of the Universidad de Sevilla. The RADECS Conference is recognized, with the IEEE NSREC (Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference), as one of the premier international events related to radiation effects on electronics, materials, devices and systems. The RADECS 2011 Conference was held 20 years after the first RADECS Conference held in La Grand-Motte (France). RADECS 2011 consisted in a one-day Short Course (September 19th), followed by four days of Technical Sessions (oral presentations and posters), a radiation effects Data Workshop, and an Industrial Exhibition (September 20th to 22nd).
