Abstract :
An analog current controller is very attractive for a three-phase ZVT boost PWM rectifier due to its simplicity, no sampling delay, low cost, etc. Although a six-step operation can be achieved automatically under ideal situations, an improved analog controller has been proposed to deal with problems under unbalanced situations. A comprehensive study and control loop design are presented. A design example for a 6 kW three phase ZVT boost PWM PFC converter operating at 50 kHz is described
