Abstract :
It is the purpose of this paper to discuss briefly the need for time-sharing, some of the implementation problems related to distributed systems resource management, an experimental time-sharing system which has been developed for the Master Token Resource Management System, and finally a scheduling algorithm, to schedule the resource for use. It gives a fair use of resources amongst the competitors and techniques which may be employed to enhance the system capabilities. It presents a strategy to minimize system overload by reducing multiple tokens and using a single token as unified approach for management.
