  • Abstract
    A new vehicle condition monitoring system for public transportation tools like buses is introduced in this paper. Comparing to the traditional one, this new system could provide video monitoring for nearly all the areas within or surrounding a bus. Four video are obtained and transmitted to main controller, then combined together and displayed on one screen. The main controlling system is realized on FPGA. Experiments showed that this system could give a good the image quality while satisfying the real-time video broadcasting demanding.
