Abstract
Recently, General Purpose Processor (GPP) has been applied to telecommunication field. The paper provides a method of optimizing the de-Rate Matching (RM) and demodulation for Long Term Evolution (LTE) system based on GPP. Multi kinds of code rates are supported in LTE. BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM are configurable for modulation. LTE system supports high peak rate with a low processing latency. So optimizing the demodulation and Rate Matching is necessary for the system implementation. A new scheme for Rate Matching is proposed, and the demodulation is optimized using Single Instruction Multi Data (SIMD).
