Abstract :
This paper presents a self-learning fuzzy neural control scheme for a complicated object-an arc welding process. In this scheme, an analytical formula of fuzzy controller is used for adaptively regulating the fuzzy rules, and a neural network model is used for real-time learning dynamics of the uncertain process. The scheme has been used in control of welding pool dynamics of the arc welding process, and experiment results show the effectiveness of the control scheme
