Abstract :
We present an implementation of the self-organizing map on the CNAPS neuro-computer. We briefly discuss the structure of the hardware used and describe how it is utilized in a very fast realization of the algorithm. We also compare our implementation to a previous one reported in the literature, and find that the presented method is significantly more efficient
