  • Abstract
    This paper describes the OPC DA specification and custom interface. Three ways to get data from OPC server are introduced. It analyses how to realize the communication from DCS and PLC to Management Information System. The crucial process and key source codes based on C++ Builder 6.0 for remote communication are proposed. The application shows OPC specification resolves the problem of data conformity between different platforms and decreases the costs of software development and maintenance.
