Abstract
The approach and the experiences of introducing a common configuration management (CM) solution throughout Bull Information Systems (Groupe Bull) are described. The problems encountered introducing such a solution for a large corporation (where the engineering centers are distributed across several countries) are identified. It is shown how these problems were solved, and the current status and future plans for the CM process are presented
