Abstract :
Selected and elaborated results of a study of information systems development in sixteen of the largest organizations in the Netherlands are reported. All of these organizations have been using structured methods and automated tools for information system development for many years. The purpose is the identification of problems and needs of practitioners with regard to the effective use of methods and tools for information system development
