Abstract :
Recent developments on the applications of ferroelectrics in China are addressed. Lithium niobate (LiNbO3) and lithium tantalate (LiTaO3) ferroelectric crystals are detailed. Two modified TGS crystals, ATGSP phosphoric acid doped ATGS (L-alanine doped TGS) and ATGSAS arsenic acid doped ATGS, were developed. Several ferroelectric ceramics recently developed in China are discussed. On the basis of the physical point of view, the principle of the physical concept, the applications of materials, and the advantages of the devices are listed
