  • Abstract
    The aim of this paper is to show in which way the study of polymer insulation surface luminescence after plasma irradiation (PIL) is a diagnostic of surface transformation induced by the discharge. Three spectral components, having different excitation mechanisms (UV irradiation, chemistry, carrier recombination), have been distinguished. Their evolution with treatment duration is described
