Abstract :
The growth and characteristics of orthorhombic ferroelectric tungsten bronze crystals are described. Based on polarization dielectric, optical, and phase transition behaviour, these bronze crystals have been classified into three different groups. The range of properties exhibited by these bronzes indicates that they will affect electrooptic, photorefractive, SAW, and piezoelectric applications
