Abstract :
According to current RTCP standards, the QoS of multi-path transmission could not be evaluated. A solution is purposed to solve the problem. A TLV-coded field, containing the packet routing, is added before RR/SR blocks. The kind of app-specific packet could be used to implement the solution, which makes the solution fully compatible with current RTCP standards. IP address is used to identify the transmission path, so there is a difference between IPv4 and IPv6 networks, making the solution complex. The solution could work properly, but still needs an improvement.
