Abstract :
Due to the complexity of image segmentation , using genetic algorithm optimizes the weights and thresholds of BP neural network to get the neural network with minimum error, then proceeds the iterative calculations of image pixel. Experiments show that the algorithm correctly segments image and improves efficiency and the robustness and accuracy of image segmentation significantly. Meanwhile the different size and signal to noise ratio of the target image can be split with better results.
