Abstract
In this paper a novel method is proposed for implementing pitch prediction inside of the sub-bands of a sub-band coder. The method uses digital linear phase shifters based on a bandpass interpolation scheme to achieve the non-integer delays necessary in the feedback loops of the pitch predictors.
