Abstract
In this paper a 3-D model for the characterization of indoor microcellular channels is presented. This model is based on ray-tracing theory and accounts for the depolarization effects introduced by the propagation environment. According to this model a 3-D ray tracer for the computation of the propagation parameters, both for wide and narrow bandwidth, has been implemented. In order to assess the accuracy of the model used in this simulator, a comparison between measured and predicted values is presented.
