Abstract :
A multi-band antenna covering Bluetooth, WiMAX and WLAN bands is presented. Two design approaches are discussed. The first design is featured to have three strips, each with different length. This design yields a narrow bandwidth around 200 MHz centered at 3.7 GHz. In the second design, two strips of the first design are connected together to form a slot-loaded patch. It is investigated that the second design can enhance the bandwidth on the WiMAX band. The design parameter to tune for the center frequency of one band without influencing too much the center frequency of another band can be found.
