Abstract
For modified lead titanate ceramics, the 90° domain rotation after poling was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The domain structure of lead titanate ceramics modified with samarium poled at different electric fields was observed. The results show that the percent of 90° domain rotation during the poling was lower, and there were 90° and 180° domains in all the samples poled at a 0-50-kV/cm electric field. There was not ample evidence to prove the full rotation of the 90° domain. However, the domain wall motion seems to be altered by increasing the poling electric field
