Abstract
The transient stability analysis of a power system and the enhancement of transient stability during a three phase symmetrical fault have been addressed in this paper. Various simulation results show that the power system with integrated wind generation creates transient stability problems. A three phase fault occurring in the system can aggravate the problem. It has been established that the installation of power system stabilizers on the conventional generators can enhance the transient stability of the faulted power system with wind generation.
