Abstract :
A computer simulation of moving sources radiating acoustic signals received by multiple ocean receivers is described. A linear time-varying Doppler function is defined, which is used to relate the received signal components in terms of the radiated signal. Inputs, outputs, control, and restrictions are presented. An example of the simulation is provided in the comparison and explanation of mean-square coherence fluctuations. Simulation and experimental data are shown.
