Abstract :
In order to solve a topologically ill-posed problem, additional/information about the unknown must be provided. A procedure is described for the solution of certain ill-posed problems for which various types of information are available. These may include nonnegativity, monotonicity, convexity, and the selective application of such information, as well as smoothness.
